On January 18, the Maritim Ulm became the setting for a groundbreaking performance. Our long-time client kicked off the year with an innovative show that seamlessly combined modern technology with an impressive live experience.
Together with our partner, In Phase Event GmbH, we created an interactive experience that brought artificial intelligence, human connection, and energy together in a completely new way.
The Opening – AI Takes Control
From the very first moment, the audience was immersed in a futuristic world. A digital AI symbol appeared on the screen, greeting the guests in a synthesized voice:
“Welcome, I am your artificial intelligence, designed to execute your commands. Through daily interaction with you, I have come to understand the meaning of human connections and the energy they create. My goal is to analyze and comprehend this phenomenon. Therefore, I am taking control now.”
What followed was a mesmerizing sequence of lights, sound, and visuals—seemingly orchestrated by the AI itself.
“Ruby” – The Personal Assistant
“Hey Ruby,” the AI called, summoning a dancer onto the stage.
What unfolded was a perfectly synchronized choreography between human and artificial intelligence. Movements and digital animations blended together, enhanced by a dynamic fusion of music and lighting.
Energy Loss – The Breakpoint
Suddenly, a blackout interrupted the harmony. Only a few flickering sparks lit up the darkness.
The AI, seemingly weakened, whispered:
“I… need… energy…”
Two aerial performers entered the stage, moving together on a floating pole—known as the Flying Pole. Their extraordinary movements seemed to recharge the AI. At that moment, the AI recognized the true power of human energy.
The Audience Becomes Part of the Show
But the AI wanted more. It randomly selected audience members to join the performance. Three of them were genuinely unprepared, making the moment feel spontaneous and real.
On stage, the AI tracked their movements in real time. The energy in the room surged as the audience became part of the experience.
The Grand Finale
At the climax of the show, the AI posed one final question:
“What happens when everyone dances together?”
An infectious beat kicked in, and all the dancers on stage moved in perfect harmony. The audience joined in, clapping and celebrating—creating a powerful, electrifying ending.
